These policies apply to purchases made through Nakita Studio. By placing an order, you agree to the policies below.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Because many Nakita Studio products are limited-run, made to order or produced specifically for a creator’s release, we do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
This includes situations where:

You selected the wrong size, colour or product

The item does not fit as expected

You changed your mind after ordering

You did not review the product description or size chart

A pre-order takes within the advertised production timeframe

There are minor variations in colour, print placement or finish
Please check the product details and sizing information carefully before completing checkout.
Measure twice, order once.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
That one is on us.
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible.
Please include:

Clear photographs of the item and packaging
Please do not wear, wash, alter or dispose of the item before contacting us.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or store credit.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse and damage caused by incorrect washing or care are not considered manufacturing faults.
Sizing
Size charts are provided on applicable product pages.
Fits may vary between garments, manufacturers and collections, so do not assume that your usual size will fit exactly the same across every product.
We recommend measuring a garment you already own and comparing it with the measurements listed on the product page.
Choosing an incorrect size is considered a change of mind and does not qualify for a return or exchange
Order Changes and Cancellations
Contact us within 24 hours of placing your order if you need to request a change or cancellation.
We will do our best to help, but changes cannot be guaranteed. Once an order has entered production, been packed or been dispatched, it may no longer be possible to cancel or modify it.

Limited products may not have replacement stock available for size changes or exchanges.
Customer Information
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information during checkout.
Before placing your order, please confirm that your:

Nakita Studio is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided during checkout.
Contact us immediately if you notice an error. We may be able to correct it before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes once processing has begun.
Processing and Dispatch
Estimated processing or production times will be listed on the relevant product page.
In-stock products will generally be dispatched within 1–5 business days, unless otherwise stated.
Pre-order and made-to-order products will generally require approximately 4–6 weeks for production before dispatch. Certain specialty products may take longer, and any different estimated timeframe will be included in the product description.
Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays.
Production estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur due to production issues, peak periods, supplier delays, severe weather or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We know waiting is painful. Please check whether you ordered a pre-order item before declaring your package missing in action.
Orders Containing Pre-Order Products
When an order contains both in-stock and pre-order products, the entire order may be held until every item is ready.
In some circumstances, products may be shipped separately. If your order is divided into multiple parcels, you may receive more than one shipping confirmation or tracking number.
Any applicable arrangements will be explained on the product page or during checkout.
Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, a shipping confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
The email will include tracking information where tracked shipping has been selected or included.
Tracking may take several business days to update after a label is created. A tracking number being issued does not always mean the carrier has physically scanned or collected the parcel yet.
Please ensure your email address is entered correctly and check your spam or junk folder before contacting us about a missing confirmation.
Shipping Delays
Delivery estimates provided at checkout are estimates only and begin after the order has been dispatched.
Once a parcel enters the carrier’s network, delivery timing may be affected by carrier congestion, public holidays, weather, customs processing and other external factors.
Nakita Studio cannot control carrier delays, but we will provide reasonable assistance where a shipment appears unusually delayed.
Please allow the estimated delivery period to pass before contacting us.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
If you provide an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, contact us immediately.
We may be able to update the address before dispatch. Once the order has been handed to the carrier, we cannot guarantee that it can be redirected.
If a parcel is returned to Nakita Studio because of an incorrect address, missing unit number, failed delivery or failure to collect it, we will contact you once it has been received back.
You may choose to have it resent, but you will be responsible for the new shipping cost.
Where you do not want the parcel resent, any refund or store credit offered may exclude:

Return-to-sender fees

Duties or taxes charged to Nakita Studio

Other reasonable costs caused by the incorrect information
This does not apply where the return was caused by an error made by Nakita Studio.
Return to Sender
Packages can be returned to us because of:

An incomplete or incorrect address
-
A missing apartment or unit number
-
Failure to collect the parcel
-
Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

Refusal of delivery
-
Unpaid customs charges
We cannot resend a returned parcel until it has physically arrived back with us.
Returned parcels remain subject to stock availability and any applicable reshipping charges.
Lost Parcels
If tracking has not updated for an unusually long period, first check the carrier’s tracking page and contact the carrier using the tracking number provided.
You should also check:

Around the delivery location
-
Your mailbox or parcel locker
-
Building reception or management
-
With other people at the address
-
With nearby neighbours
-
Any safe place nominated for delivery
Please then contact Nakita Studio with your order number and details of your enquiry with the carrier.
We will provide reasonable assistance and, where appropriate, lodge or support an investigation with the carrier.
Any replacement, refund or store credit will depend on the circumstances and the outcome of the carrier’s investigation.
Parcels Marked as Delivered
If tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, contact the carrier as soon as possible and request delivery confirmation.
Carriers occasionally scan parcels shortly before the physical delivery is completed, so we recommend allowing one additional business day.
Nakita Studio is not responsible for theft occurring after a parcel has been correctly delivered to the address or safe place authorised by the customer. However, we will assist where reasonably possible if there appears to have been a delivery error.
Authority to Leave
Where you provide authority to leave, nominate a safe place or instruct the carrier to leave the parcel unattended, you accept the risk of theft or damage after the parcel has been delivered according to those instructions.
Choose your safe place carefully. “Somewhere near the front door” is not always as safe as it sounds.
International Shipping
International delivery times vary depending on the destination, carrier and customs processing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered can be legally imported into their destination country.
Nakita Studio is not responsible for customs delays or delays caused by local authorities.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges or handling fees imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly collected during checkout, these charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and remain the customer’s responsibility.
Nakita Studio cannot predict or control these charges. Contact your local customs authority before ordering if you require further information.
Refused International Shipments
If you refuse an international shipment or fail to pay required customs charges, the parcel may be returned, destroyed or abandoned by the carrier or customs authority.
Where the parcel is returned to us, any refund or store credit offered may be reduced by:

Other reasonable costs associated with recovering the parcel
No refund or credit can be issued where a parcel is abandoned or destroyed and cannot be recovered, except where required by law.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact Nakita Studio before lodging a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
When contacting us, include your order number and a clear description of the problem.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you may have to contact your bank, card issuer, payment provider or relevant consumer protection authority.
Where a chargeback is opened, Nakita Studio may provide the payment provider with relevant transaction records, tracking information, customer communications and evidence that the order was fulfilled.
Knowingly making a false or misleading payment dispute may constitute fraud.
Fraud Prevention
Nakita Studio reserves the right to cancel or hold an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment activity or misuse of the website.
We may request additional information to confirm the customer’s identity or authority to use the selected payment method.
Personal information collected for fraud prevention purposes will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

The version applying to an order will generally be the version published when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law.
